Alliance for Mindanao Off-grid Renewable Energy (AMORE)
The Alliance for Mindanao Off-grid Renewable Energy (AMORE) program seeks to
bolster the Philippine national government's peace and development program in
Muslim Mindanao by improving the quality of life in at least 160 rural
communities through intensive ommunity organizing activities centered on
stand-alone sustainable renewable energy systems.
klima is a partner of AMORE, working together to promote renewable energy
systems as a sustainable source of energy that is clean and doesn't emit
greenhouse gases.

ASEAN Center for Energy (ACE) The ASEAN Center for Energy (ACE) was established on 1 January 1999 and is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. It serves as a catalyst for the economic growth and development of the ASEAN region by initiating, coordinating and facilitating national as well as joint and collective activities on energy. ACE recognizes klima Climate Change Center as the regional hub for climate change issues and has a formal partnership with klima Climate Change Center since April of 2000.

The Clean Air Initiative for Asian Cities (CAI-Asia)
The Clean Air Initiative for Asian Cities (CAI-Asia) engages multi-sectoral
partners in identifying problems and finding solutions to air quality issues on
the regional, country, and city-specific level. The website provides a network
for local partners and a database of all clean air-related information and
resources in Asia and in the Philippines.

Project Cycle.

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
Recognizing the problem of
potential global climate change, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and
the United ations Environment Programme (UNEP) established the IPCC in 1988.
The role of the IPCC is to assess the scientific, technical and socio-economic
information relevant for the derstanding of the risk of human-induced climate
change.

The Manila Observatory
The Manila Observatory is a private non-stock, non-profit, scientific research
institution that was established in 1865 in the Philippines. Aside from being
the mother institution of klima Climate Change Center, its research areas
encompass urban air quality, regional climate systems, socio-environmental
geomatics, solid earth dynamics and iono-geomagnetic studies.

The REToolKit
Provides a broad set of tools to assist Bank staff and our
developing country partners in improving the design and implementation of
renewable energy (RE) projects. It incorporates best practices and lessons
learned from RE projects supported by the World Bank Group and others. It is
operationally oriented to address practical implementation needs at each stage
of the project cycle. Use of this reference tool is expected to result in lower
costs and less time for project preparation, and result in more effective and sustainable RE projects. REToolKit is a web-based knowledge portal that directly
responds to the needs assessment conducted with the World Bank task managers.

The Tiempo Climate Cyberlibrary is an electronic information service covering
global warming, climate change, sea-level rise and related issues. The
Cyberlibrary provides access to authoritative news and educational resources on
the subject of climate change, with particular reference to the situation of the
developing world.
The Cyberlibrary includes quarterly issues of its bulletin "Tiempo", and an
online weekly news magazine called "Newswatch" that gives access to hourly
updates of climate news from web sites worldwide. klima is highlighted in
Newswatch's "featured website" section on March 2005.

United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
USAID assists the Philippines in the challenges facing its energy and
environment sectors. In line with this, with the help of USAID, The Developing
Local, National and Regional capacities to Sustain Climate Change Initiatives
in the Philippines and East Asia (DEVCAP) was created to develop national and
regional capacities of the Philippine government, civil society, and the
private sector to actively participate in the global effort to address climate
change.
