Transport
The transport sector has been undoubtedly the fastest growing source of greenhouse gases. Rapidly reducing the emissions from these sources have been in order for quite some time. Many options have presented themselves. However, it is important to distinguish the feasible and effective ones. Robust evaluation of the options at hand are vital to developing sound policies in the direction of saving the climate. This public briefing imparts the results of an assessment conducted by Klima, comparing options in terms of technical doability, economic viability, and effectiveness, as colleagues from civil society and the academe give their thoughts on the study.
