As part of the DEVCAP program objectives, IEC activities aim to heighten public awareness and understanding of climate change to galvanize communities (on both national and local scales) to take action on this pressing global problem. IEC likewise aims to develop informational materials and resources. Three basic activities fall under the IEC sub-program: public briefings, research and development and web development.
